The Ada DeBold Society
The Ada DeBold Society introduces a new era in the history of the National Kidney Foundation. This elite body was formed to recognize those actively involved and committed to NKF's vision of making lives better. Members of the Ada DeBold Society are a distingished group of the National Kidney Foundation who contribute major support to guarantee that its leadership in eradicating kidney and urinary tract diseases will continue for the benefit of generations to come.
As this effort gains momentum and you, along with other friends of the National Kidney Foundation, are approached to lend your financial support to this important cause, please give it serious consideration.Despite the progress made in kidney, urinary tract and transplant medicine over the years, there is much yet to do. Your support will assure continued advancements in research, education and care.
Gifts
Gifts toward membership in The Ada DeBold Society may be made in either of the following ways:
- Undesignated Support
These funds are especially vital and will be used to support the NKF's programs and services. - Designated Support
These funds will be used in support of the National Kidney Foundation for such specific purposes as determined by the donor, such as: support for research, underwriting a favorite program or service or establishing a special fund.
Benefits
The Ada DeBold Society acknowledges all members with permanent recognition on a distinctive wall plaque strategically located within the Affiliate and National offices of the National Kidney Foundation. To all those who pass through our doors, it serves as a reminder that you are a special friend of the National Kidney Foundation.
Members of The Ada DeBold Society receive:
- Permanent recognition in the annual report’s “Honor Roll of Donors”
- Recognition on Affiliate and National wall plaques
- A distinctive Ada DeBold Society memento
- Invitations to select events
- Policy and program updates from the National Kidney Foundation
Membership
Membership is open to all individuals and in the case of husband and wife, the membership may be joint.
Three levels of individual participation: Member, Fellow and Patron levels exist for individuals who meet the following conditions: Pledge to contribute $5,000 to the National Kidney Foundation not less than $1,000 per year.
Society Levels include:
- $5,000 Member
- $10,000 Benefactor
- $25,000 Patron
Make a planned gift* of at least:
- $25,000 Member
- $100,000 Benefactor
- $250,000 Patron
